What is the name of your state?
My state is California.
I edited, without a script nor help a documentary in 1981.
It is about a well known band. They were given the masters, but have lost them. I have a copy of my work and wish to go public with it.
What are my rights?

Thank you for your fast reply. I was never paid any wages for the project
and signed no contracts either. The documentary was totally created in post production by me. I'm listed separately in the credits both as director and as editor.
