Hi all,

I'm going to be fighting an infringement case against our registrered mark.

The first quote I got (getting more) was $225/hr for Attorney $120/hr for ParLegal work.

They want an initial retainer of $800

Does this sound about normal?

Any suggestions in the Dallas Area?

Actually, sounds VERY reasonable... and on the low side.

Attorneys, just like everyone else, can't 'price fix'. You will have to talk with (interview) several attorneys for their rates and qualifications... then pick the one that you feel most comfortable with.
