What is the name of your state? FL

I bought the name www.______.com about 6 months ago. (I will leave the name blank in hopes to prevent losing it - but it deals with the player below and a likely name Nike might use for his merchandise.

Nike recently signed Lebron James to a $95,000,000 contract.

I realize that some legal cases have forced people to give up names they own. I believe Sony was one, while the guy who own Nissan.com has kept it.

The name I bought is not trademarked by Nike or anyone else.

How should I go about protecting it? Do I need to trademark it or is owning the site name before anyone trademarks it sufficient?

Further any recommendations on how to go about selling it to Nike?

Thanks!

Sean
