What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New York
I have songs released with a record company and am registered as a songwriter with BMI and these songs are registered as writer access clearance (no publishing company) I would like to know if I collect the mechanical royalties directly from the company even with no publishing company involved? and is that the legal way to persue it if need be?
thanx

If your not represented by Harry Fox (or someone like that) the mechanicals should go directly to you.
