Name of my company is similar to a famous insurance company but based on city name

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA

I have a company that I have yet to incorporate, just running it out of my apt but will be taking it national soon.

However, when I made the co. it was simply Eastwood Security Services.

I just realized however that there's a famous insurance company called Eastwood Insurance and I don't wanna get sued. Is my name kosher?

The best thing you can do, as a business owner, is sit down with an attorney versed in such law that can analyze all relevant facts/details and advise you accordingly. Considering what is at stake here, my advice is to not entrust your business venture to an internet forum.

Google your business name, you will not be the only one using that exact same name.
