A competitor has recently contacted me, claiming that a product in my online store is using 'springboard marketing' and 'immitating' their product.
I buy the product from a supplier, they manufacture theirs.
Their product has been around longer than the one I sell.
They have no patent or trademark as far as I know.

My opinion was that unless I'm violating a patent or trademark, they cannot sue me or stop me selling the product I sell. Just because the product is similar, that shouldn't mean I'm breaking any laws, does it?
Am I right?

Their site: www.w1zardpkr1ng.com

My site: www.v0rtexpkr1ng.co.uk

(I Put numbers into domains for privacy.)

I am in the United Kingdom

Thanks for any help that you can provide.

We only deal with US law here.

This is a volunteer forum. Don't make a pain in the butt out of yourself by obscuring the link for us. The fact that you have a registered domain has already ruined whatever privacy you think you had.

Since both sites seem to be registered to UK entities we'll go no further.
