placement of ™ .. need help

Anybody able to help me with something minor? I've been making lablels for my company products, and i'm not entirely sure where to put our TM symbol.

The label on the product is written with 2 lines in a box, like this:

-------------------
- Our New -
- Product -
--------------------

If i put the ™ on the bottom after "Product", it looks like we're trying to claim we have "Product" trademarked, but if i put it on the top, it looks like we're claining to have "Our New" trademarked. We have the whole phrase trademarked, so i'm not sure where to put it so we don't run into any legal issues.

I'm not sure that it's even required for you to give notice of Trademark.

You may wish to read the FAQ at www.uspto.gov

The "TM" symbol is unnecessary, and provides no real protections -- it is simply there to provide some level of notice to others that you consider what you have a trademark of your organization, and that you would enforce it as such. You can put it anywhere.

If the trademark is registered with the USPTO, then you can use the circle-R instead of the TM.
