What is the name of your state? New York. I've an idea that involves derivative/electronic rights to a book that is already published. I need a lawyer to just help with contacting the publishing company on my behalf but I'm concerned about revealing my idea. What form or procedure is available that protects me from any lawyer running away with my idea or any lawyer revealing my idea to another party? In other words, how do I keep my idea mine while soliciting the assistance I need to get it off the ground?

thanks,
Janine
