Hello,

I sent a letter to J.P. Tarcher, Inc. asking for permission to reproduce some material.

Originally I had searched the Internet, and even checked Publisher directories to find J.P. Tarcher with no success. I finally, through interlibrary loan, found the original edition of the material I wanted to reproduce, found the address of J.P. Tarcher, Inc., who according to the copyright info holds the copyright.

I sent the letter and it was just returned to me as undeliverable.

Is the material previously copyrighted by J.P. Tarcher, Inc. now in the public domain?

Thanx.
