I am publishing a book I have written on a Macintosh CRM application. I would like to use the name Mastering [application name] for my title, however, I noticed that Sybex has a book published called Mastering InDesign. Is there any potential legal issue with using this title or am I safe to go ahead and register the title and purchase an ISBN? Should I have anything to worry about if they were to make a claim against me? Should I get their permission first?
