reprinting a sports schedule

can anybody tell me if i can legally print a sports schedule on a product and sell that product. For instance a Nascar 2002 race schedule.

Mot unless you have written approval being that the schedule is under copyright.

You will have to have (pay) for permission from NASCAR depending on how you use the schedule. My 2002 schedule T-shirt my wife just bought me has printed right on the shirt that the copyright is from NASCAR it is used by permi$$ion. But it listed each event sponsor and even has the TV networks logos. If you wanted just a generic type, it probably would not be a problem. I have the schedules for the 3 top NASCAR series on a website of mine but all I list is the date and track name, nothing else. I even listed the races at the track near Charlotte named after a home improvement company as Charlotte.
