my state is Michigan. i would like to know how do i go about writting a movie screenplay on the life of a famous person? What if the person doesn't want me to write it, is there a way to go around the person? I'm reading lots of books on the life of this famous person along with interviews with close friends do i have to ask permission from the authors of the books to write my screenplay? I would really appreciate some clarity on this subject. Thank you..
