What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NY
However, now must file Federal case in MN. Complaint might continue to reference NY Statutues and/or have to be updated with MN Statutues.

The original case was dismissed for lack of jurisdiction in Eastern District of New York (Brooklyn). It involves a citizen/residence of Woodbury, MN who has a business address in St. Paul, MN. The defendant is very liquid and high worth individual and business owner. Initial summons & complaint has been
written.

We don't recommend lawyers here. There's a FIND A LAWYER link.
I'm confused as to what copyright or trademark issue you are using state statutes to pursue and why you are trying to pursue state issues in Federal court anyway.

The complaint does include Federal claims as well as State Claims since both protect your copyrights and trademarks. In addition, claims for other issues at Federal and State levels. Does this make sense to you now?
