Successful First Use in Commerce Specimen

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? ND

I am filing a U.S. trademark myself without an attorney. I was wondering what I need for a successful first use in commerce specimen. Will anything showing my product suffice? Or do I need to show certifiable dates associated with the product?

Something with a verifiable date is always stronger than a nondated sample accompanied by a declaration, but you submit whatever it is you have.
