What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Arkansas

I received a letter from Gibney, Anthony & Flaherty LLP demanding that I send them $375.00 because I listed a copy of Adobe Photoshop for sale on eBay. I purchased this software from another eBay member, I bought 2 copies, loaded one on my home computer and put the other up for auction. Ebay pulled my auction claiming copyright infringement. I had no idea the software was fake and still don't know if it is. I believed that was the end of it, however today I received a letter from this law firm. They are claiming that I owe this money because of the sale of this merchandise which I have never sold and never profited from.

My questions are:

Should I contact these people and explain this?
Do I have to pay them for profits that I never even made?
What should I do???? Please help

Thank you.
