Trademark a phrase for every class of use?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Il

Hi I want to Trademark a phrase to be used on custome Jewlery and clothing such as shirts etc..

Do I have to register the trademark for every class I want to use it on like class 14(Jewlery) and class 25(Clothing) or can I somehow just register the phrase itself and use it on whatever I want?
