What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Illinois
Hello, I'm new here and thanks in advance for your help.
I am starting an LLC company which will make and sell a sports product. I am looking for advice in the naming of my product.
Lets say its a target for baseball pitchers.... I figure to increase sales, I should attach a catchy name to it... for example "The Strike Zone" pitching target system.
What should I do so:
A. I do not get sued from anyone already using a similiar name.
and
B. I can protect myself from someone also naming a competing product the same name?
I have gone to USPTO.GOV and it got a little confusing. With advice, if you can, please advise of fees involved.
I need to design the product box and need to know my limitations.
