colorado--i want to use my former employer's company name (not logo) in an ad for my new business--just to say i retired from her company. can i use the name without infringing copyright?
...you'd use it in your resume, wouldn't you? Is there some animosity here that you're worried about? Did you part company on good terms? If so you might run it by your former employer. If not, it's still the truth and 1st amendment protected, I don't see how copyright enters into it.
