Exclamation

Arbys crappy toys

What is the name of your state? Indiana
this was sent to Strottman and Arbys

I wish to discuss the children's play toy you supply to Arbys.

The one with The Oven Mit and the little Oven
THAT TOY IS A MAGNET

My kid was in my bed room playing with it when I noticed he was running it in circles on my screen and there was a rainbow effect following his motions-
WHICH IS STILL THERE

YOUR TOY COST ME A 20 INCH PHILLIPS COLOR TV

Thank you so much for serving us the most expensive kids meal I have ever had the misfortune to buy.

I am NOT happy and am checking into legal representation

I consider this to be negligence.
And your lack of information
cost MEa perfectly good TV
and a lot of distress.
I cant afford to replace it
and I really feel that I shouldn't
have to

note:
the date of the visit is an approximate guess- it was during the week of Oct 16th to the 22nd

Sounds like your kid caused the problem and not Arby's.

Maybe you should have taught your kid not to play with magnets around the TV.

FWIW I played with big old speaker magnets and my color TV when I was younger.

I still have that TV and it still works fine without any color distortions. If you have some colors stuck play with the magnet some more and maybe you can get them out.

If not I think you can take it somewhere to degauss it, I think that is what they do anyways. Not sure how much that costs since I've never needed to have it done.

If you had read the users manual when you purchased the TV you would have noticed something close to the following.

Do not install the monitor in the following places:
near equipment which generates magnetism.

Why is this Arby's problem?
How many frig magnets do you currently own?
And your not suing those manufactures too? You could bump up to a 42" Plasma.
Unplug it for a day or degauss it and it should be fine.

Why didn't you read the screen when ordering? Had you looked, you would have known the toy was a magnet.

In fact, you are so astonishingly correct in this matter, it will not surprise us one bit if you are offered a generous settlement, because, by golly, that’s just how it should be.

Take your TV to a repairman and have the screen degaussed. It will cost about $20 and your TV will be fine. And Arby's, like most fast food places that give out free toys, limit the cost of any libility to the cost of the toy to the purchaser.
