    Auto recall

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas
I bought a car at a used car lot in February 2009. Just recently my car caught on fire while I was driving it. I later found that there was a recall on my car for an engine issue that would cause the car to catch on fire. My question is how was I to know that my car was being recalled? Would this be something the dealer would know?

There are all kinds of FREE recall searches on the internet.... starting with:

Would this be something the dealer would know?
    Would know?? Possibly.
    Required to know?? No.
    Liable for not knowing?? No.
There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) filed in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.7M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!
