Burned on my leg

I live in Colorado. I have a neuromuscular disorder called Charot Marie Tooth disorder. I have limited feeling in my lower extremities.
I was recieving physical therapy by a therapist that knows of my condition. I have used her before. She was using Ionopherisis maching. It is a machine that places medication into the muscle by way of electrical stimulation. I have had this before with only a little redness. This day however when the patch was taken off I had recieved a burn hole in my leg. It has been a month, I am seeing a wound care doctor, and it is slowly healing. The Hospital has paid for an antibiotic for a low grade infection, and I am on Medicare. I would like to recieve some sort of compensation for myself. Do I have a case.

The "release" you signed accepting use of the transcutaneous electric nerve stimulator indicated there was a risk of burns.
Charcot-Marie-Tooth is an uncommon neuropathy whose genetic basis was largely unknown until about 10 years ago.
The neurological problem oftens lead to painful foot disorders, requiring surgery, complicated by difficulty in controlling bleeding in friable tissue.
You are fortunate your small burn is healing.
