What is the name of your state?West Virginia,Iwas burnt when my cofee pot lid came down and caused 2 and3 degree burns the lid did not lock.

I was burnt when my coffee pot lid did not lock it had hot steam and I was burnt severly with 2nd and 3rd degree burns.
