My fifteen year old son lit a candle with a stick match ,he looked inside the glass container to see if the candle was lit.the flame of the candle flared out of the container approx. a foot, burning my son face he was rushed to the near by hospital, there the doctor said he had suffered second degree burns over fifty percent of his face.He had to remain in the house for two weeks with cream and saran on his face, was prescripted pain medication.The doctor states that there will not be any permnent scars, but he will have discoloration for the next 5 or 6 months. I was off work with my son over a week due to this incident.Can he recover from this? |
