Candy bar lawsuit

What is the name of your state? Kentucky

I bought a candy bar from a vending machine and when I ate it I discovered there to be a glass shard in my mouth. Luckily I didnt get cut or swallow it. I still have the glass piece and wrapper with me with the bar code on it for evidence. Even though I didnt get hurt it could have injured me or caused death. Do I have the basis for a lawsuit?

Just for the replacement cost of the candy bar. Don't be surprised if the candy company offers a bunch of candy bars.
