chip injury

was eating some tortilla chips, a thumb szie rock hard mass of chip crumbs and I mean rock hard were in the bag. of course it was in my handful of chips. it broke my $500.00 crown. should the chip companny have to pay for replacement, since this was not a normal, in any way chip, and yes i kept the offending speciman. ohio
