Christian Science Practitioner malpractice

What is the name of your state? Virginia

Can a Christian Science Practitioner be sued in the state of Virginia for malpractice if a minor patient dies under his or her care? Is there a statute of limitations? Is there any precedence for this type of case?

My response:

Sure, anyone can be sued for malpractice as the result of their professional work. Your problems would be many, and varied however. Not only would you come up against one the more strong "religions" and their defense counsel, but you'd have to prove a "callous indifference" to life and safety - - which is a level of proof almost amounting to murder.

Good luck.
