NJ - I purchased a cooler, and it leaked and ruined my kitchen floor.
I contacted the manufacturer, and asked them to pay for the replacement of the floor.

If they ask me to send them the cooler, so they can confirm it is defective, should I do so?
I have already videotaped the cooler leaking, but I am worried they will say the plug wasn't in all the way, and do a switch on me.

I was thinking to put my signature on it, so I can later be sure it is the same one.
Will that work? Is that necessary?
