curiousi live in indiana and 4 yrs. ago i gave birth to my son by c-section my doctor was out of town when i delivered so another doctor performed the surgery. when my doctor returned he appeared to be very upset with the procedure and continuously apologised for not being there for me. three yrs later i gave birth to my daughter and i found it strange that my doctor did not follow the same cut that i previously had. and he also seemed very concerned about this cut as well. almost every doctor visit he would ask me who performed that c-section. since delivering my son my stomach never returned to normal which i really didnt expect it to but i didnt expect to continue looking 7mths pregnant at all times. is there a way that i can find out if that doctor did something wrong and is there a statue of limitations on situations such as this. thank you and please respond soon. |

| 1.Was your first section an emergency? 2. How were each of the incisions made? 3. You have a healthy baby and no irreparable harm seems to have been done to you. 4. You probably have developed a hernia or the abdominal rectus muscle fibers have separated. Someday you may want an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) and that will fix everything up. |

replymy first c-section was not an emergency the doctor chose this way because i stopped dialating at 6. the first incision was classical and the 2nd was low cervical. after the first c-section i did develop a hernia and i also had it repaired and that incision was made above the classical incision because that docter wanted no connection with that cut also. so now i have an I on my stomach all due to that very first incision. thanks for your reply |
