Dead Spider or Fly found in Honey Ham Package

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ohio

I purchased a package of Land O Frost Honey Ham Saturday evening at a near by Super Walmart. We've made sandwiches from this meat and my daughter and I started feeling lousy come Sunday evening. She complained her belly hurt and I had severe cramping, upset stomach and diarreah. I thought nothing of it.

Well, today my husband made her a sandwich for school lunch and I made myself a sandwich about noon time. As I preparing my sandwich I noticed there was black things embedded in the meat. So, I peeled by a few more pieces and in 7 slices there were pieces of either a dead spider of fly. For instance one piece has body, other leg, wing or antenna, body part etc.

I kept the package and the 7 slices, but them in a baggy and froze them. I called the company and they'll give me a refund of the purchase price. Yuck!

What should I do?

I kept everything... Just hoping my poor lil daughter didnt have any in her lunch this afternoon. Makes me disgusted!

Pretty gross, but you're not entitled to anything more then a refund.

You did the right thing. They will refund you your money and probably send you some coupons. Nothing else for you to do.

In other words... you did not hit the law-suit lotto with this one. Sorry.
