Question

do I have a case


What is the name of your state? Georgia

My husband recently had a motorcycle accident and broke hi wrist the doctor that he seen tryed putting a plate in his wrist but and several months his wrist was not better let me first say that he was seeing her PA right after the surgery. She sent he to have a second opinion but we cannot get the results from the cat scan the second doctor did, but when we saw he on the first visit he did x-rays and he said that the plate the first doctor put in has caused his bone to split he now cannot move his wrist at all and he has missed work because of this and the accident happened in febuary 2003 and it is now june 2003 and we still cannot get an answer please help

I'd appreciate your re-typing your remarks. I have trouble knowing who did what.
However, I can give you some answers. If these do not fit the circumstances, please try your question again.
Certain wrist fractures present serious problems to an orthpedist. Often the fracture must be fixed with a plate and screws. In accidents such as motorcycle crashes, bones in the wrist may be shattered, and little solid bone for fixing the plate in place may be available. Sueing the orthopedist in these cases is often unsuccessful, and in most States the plaintiff (you and your attorney) is charged with court costs . For this reason most lawyers avoid these cases. However, you should take what records you have to a lawyer and see what he thinks. I suspect from what you have said that you may have a case, but without a clearer picture of events, it's hard to say.
