Drug Settlement Clearing House

My Question is primarily to lawyers, However anyone may reply. I am considering starting a company to support Defective Medical Product and Drug Settlement Claims Processing. We have all seen the fen-Phen ads. It seems every lawyer in the countey is looking for these clients. The settlement is at 7.5 Billion and it is only one case out of the many. I have spoken to only a few counsel and have learned that the amount of work is overwhelming;phone calls;follow-up;forms entry and submission;even getting ( Selling the clients on the FREE Echo seems to be very difficult). Most firms ask the client to find aquire their own medical records and test reports and that seems to be a burden to the client. Advertisig, I recently read where one attorney alone is spending 80 K a month.
My Question is, would this type of service be supported? Also exactly what other srvices might be usefull to you.I am envisioning an electronic processing center for client support.
I can imagine the politics to be difficult as I have worked with Cardiologist's in the past and they are very reluctant to give clients to an outside service.
Also, any comments or thoughts appreciated.
I am an R.N. with approx. 10 Years in Cardiology and ICU,Heart Lung and Liver Transplant hopping to begin this Quest.
