What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California
I was prescribed Effexor six years ago for migraine and depression. Initially there were
improvements but three years ago, the migraines got worse and I became "emotionless". This past April an MRI showed a number of brain lesions that weren't present in an MRI from 2002. I was alarmed so weaned myself off the drug over a two-month period and haven't had a migraine since. I'm also feeling "normal" emotionally. I'm very concerned about the lesions not only for myself but for other people who've been on this
drug long-term. Those using Effexor for "depression only" would generally never get an MRI and would be unaware that this could be happening. Can something be done about
this?

Has any doctor given you any reason to think the lesions are related to the drug?

Did you wean off of the drug under the supervision and advice of your doctor, or all on your own? The latter can be very dangerous.
