My pediatric references state that any difficulties with hip examination, including hearing a clicking or popping sound, should be followed-up with immediate medical consultation.

Based on that information alone, I suggest you have your daughter evaluated. It is possible that the hip has become dislocated again, maybe as a result of her walking and the normally associated falling or 'sitting down' that goes with toddling.

If I can be of any additional assistance, let me know.

I did take her to the dr and he refered me to a orthopedic dr and he told me that she "might" have fluid around the bone other wise her xrays look fine and for me to watch it for the next 3 weeks to write down when it pops and what she was doing and then he will refer me to a childrens orthopedic doctor that specializes in hips- Thanks for you help and your information
