Okay. My question is, I went into the hospital for a stomach ache, 30 weeks pregnant. 30 min. later my baby was dead. The nurse realized right away what happened, and got the doctor, the doctor did look at an ultrasound and tried to use electrode things to hear his heartbeat, but couldn't. My question is, being since I was already so far along, why didn't they just do and emergency c-section and try to save him? I had SEVERLY high blood pressure and they diagnosed me with severe preeclampsia, BUT not until after the fact that my baby died. I also had the same thing with my first child, but she lived. I had a different doctor with her and they put me on bedrest at about 27 weeks. EVERYTIME I went to the doctors with my second pregnancy, I tried to explain to them how serious my blood pressure was and I even told them that I would get my records from the other doctor, but they just blew me off, everytime, like it was no big deal. There are just so many things that are not right here and that don't add up. Things that the doctor said to me at the hospital, comments that were made, it's disgusting. I JUST NEED HELP PLEASE!!!! DO I EVEN HAVE A LEG TO STAND ON? I live in New York by the way. I had my first child in Ohio though. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ANY HELP!!!!!!!- Stephanee

I am sorry for your loss.

But you need to consult a medical malpractice attorney:
