he would have never diedyes i live in Idaho. My father had a physical less than 6 weeks ago. The Dr. told him he was in perfect condition. He had the works including a chest X-ray. My father died 2 weeks ago of a enlarged heart. The heart was twice the size of a normal heart it is impossible to miss such a drastic enlargement expecially on a chest x-ray. My dad has been a logger for over 40 years. Hard physical labor he was only 59 years old. This could have been prevented. He could have been put on medication, and told to quit his job. But instead he worked till the day he died and on the way home driving he had a major heart attack. The coronors were ammazed at the size of his heart, and could not believe a Dr. didn't caught this. they said it was a time bomb. This has shattered our family and my mother. They have been togeather since they were 15 years old. I think this so called Dr. should pay dearly for what he has taken away from us. A husband, a father to 3, and all his grandchilderen. please tell me if I have a case or not. I would hate to see another family go through what we have went through. |

please help usIdaho, I guess what I'm asking is that if a dr. reads a x-ray and misses a grossley enlarged heart and tells the patient that every thing looks good, and 5 weeks later he dies of a sudden major heart attack with no warning. Shouldn't the Dr. be responsible in some way for his gross neglegence of not being able to read a simple x-ray. If the Dr. would have read it, it would have saved his life, because a simple pill and warning would have been all it would have took..Please help.... do I have a case of malpractice?, This has shattered out lives...and cost the life of a young wonderful man. ....Please help |
