What is the name of your state? Mississippi
when my step son stayed with his mom, and he had a baby boy with a 17 years old girl. Now, he stays with his dad. Does his dad have to pay child support for his son?

interesting question--did you get an answer? did you post this in the support and custody section of the family law questions?

I'm thinking that the parents may be held responsible and I'm thinking maybe just the girl's parents--and, most likely the taxpayers of the state--but, I'd like to know the answer, too.
