State of colorado. In 1996 I slipped and fell at work. In 1997 I had back surgery. The day after my surgery the man in the next bed fell on me as I was sitting in a chair.He was at least 220#. The man was pulling out his iv and giving the nurses a hard time. I buzzed for the nurse and got no responce I than yelled. It took 15 to 20 min. to get a nurse. I told my work comp. lawyer and she said to do nothing as it would mess up my comp. case. In 1999 I settled with the work comp. people. I am getting SSDI now.My question is can I sue the hosp. did my lawyer advise me wrong and can I sue her? Thank You
