michigan i hired an attorney for a dispute over a home business that i have been running for 17 years with the permission of the township supervisor the present administration sued me for zoning violation,i think my attorney was neglegent because he waited 3 days before trial to even talk to witnesses i know he did not investigate the cituiation properly and told me the day of court that i did not have anything legal to stand on and to concede i don't think i should have i think he was friends with the plaintiffs after court he said he talked to judge and said the judge said i would have lost is this common practice or was i screwed
