Little Giant Ladder guy

What is the name of your state? California

My wife purchased a Little Giant Ladder (the ones you see televised all the time) last year for my birthday. We'll this last Sunday while I was up on my terrace (Approximately 10 feet high) I stepped down onto my ladder and it broke in two dropping me like a rock onto the cement floor. My injuries are bruises and scraps plus a broken ladder.

My question is what kind of compensation should I expect from this Company. My information is being processed right now at Wing Enterprises somekind of insurance company. I just sent them the pictures of my injuries as well as the broken ladder. They said they are prepared to negotiate somekind of settlement but I would like to have somekind of idea what I should be asking. Any ideas would be very welcome.

my e-mail is carbideman@comcast.net

Thanks

This is an easy one. Here's the formula:

Your Compensation = Cost of ladder (inc. tax and shipping, if any) + cost of band aid(s) and first aid cream + oh, we'll call it $250 for your pain and suffering (it is California after all, birthplace of the red-winged Liberal).

Good luck!

YAG, you got that wrong. It is the right wing Republican way to pay out as little as possible, they are the ones pushing for tort reform. A liberal will sue for $1 million dollars but settle for a $1000.
