Exclamation

My wife carried our second son with no complications throughout her pregnancy. She began having contractions and went to hospital. Dr. sent her home 4cm dilated and 80% thinned, refusing to keep her. When she returned to the hospital two days later she was 6cm. Baby was moving. After 10 or 15 minutes, Dr. told her they had lost heartbeat baby was dead. When we told them the baby was just moving and asked for a Cesarian to save our child, we were told our insurance wouldn't cover it. Isn't that illegal? Since we're sure our insurance does cover. Also after delivery wife had lacerations and hematoma, was put under for examination of the bleeding, signed consent for exam only, not to have surgery or any sort of repairs until Dr. explained, when wife came out of recovery she had stitches anyway with no consent. Is this criminal? Or atleast some from of Malpractice?
