mcdonalds used bandage

I was eating a big mac last week with my children at a local mcdonalds here in utah. I was about half way through my burger,m when I bit into it and tasted someting rather hard and strange tasting. I pulled back the burger, thinking it was a rotten piece of lettuce, and discovered that it was infact a small size band-aid, that was not only used, but had what appeared to be dried blood and yellow stuff on it. I promptly threw up-gross I know, but true. I went and showed manager, and then threw up again. I kept band aid-incase I needed it tested, and went home and called my doctor. He easked me to come in first thing the following morning for blood work- upon arriving at the doctors, I was informed that it is possible for me to become infected with AIDS and all three strains of Hepatitis from this band aid. I was horrified and terrified, I then had my blood drawn-as a control factor, and then was told that I would have to wait six more months until a conclusive test could be run. To say that I am scared and upset is an understatement. Aside from that I have not been able to eat much since the incident occured, as all I can do is think of that band aid and I heave. I have lost 9 pounds and am feeling pretty weak. I know thta my physical damages are minimal-for now anyway, but do I have a case just for the sheer horror of the incident. I have six months to wait and stew over what I may or may not have contracted, and I am finding it hard to eat and I don't know if I will ever be able to go out to eat again. This has really affected me emotionaly, no matter how I try or what I try I feel constantly ill and I am so angry that this happned. Please let me know what what I can do if anything-thanks me.

Yep-it was part of the promo. The manager apologized and offered me free food-yuck! They have not contacted me as of yet, although I did call them on Friday and put a report through.
