Mther-in-Law

What is the name of your state? My mother in law lives in Texas My mother in law had surgery on her hands about year and a half ago. They were supposed to take tendons from one wrist to replce the dead ones in the other hand. Now she has problems with both hands she has problems even picking up a coffie cup. She has seen anther doctor since and he said the surery should have never been done, but did not feel comfortable about giving any legal advice because the other doctor is a close friend of his(she lives in a very small town). What if anything can she do?

**A: get another opinion from an MD specialist that does not have a conflict of interest. Talk to a med-mal attorney
