need some advice please

I live in NY state. My brother and I went to a store and bought a freshly made 14" sub and he got half and so did I. After I ate half of mine, he found a pin (like a sewing pin or needle) in his half. I can't imagine how it got it there. Anyway we told the manager and he gave me my money back, my brother was not injured but we both will not go out to eat again for a long long time if ever. I just wanted to know on his behalf, what could I do legally, if anything? I am the only witness to the seeing the pin come from the sub, and no we didn't stage this to sue anyone. The manager gave you your money. He was not obliged to do that. It is a rare event, and probably no one knew she had lost a pin. I doubt if anyone was waiting for you guys to buy that sub.
