in a car accident i was injured (broken shin & ankle with some screws/plates inside)
THE OTHER PARTY'S INSURANCE OFFERED ME THE HIGHEST AMOUNT THE PERSON HAS ON HIS POLICY 50.K. IN MAY CASE I THINK THAT NUMBER IS NOT ENOUGH.THEY SAID THAT THEY CAN'T GIVE MY MORE BECAUSE OF HIS POLICY LIMIT. CAN I FIGHT FOR MORE
EVEN IF HE DO NOT HAVE INF POLICY LIMIT COVERAGE.
BY THE WAY. NICE FORUM
THANK YOU

get rids of the caps.

yes, you can sue for whatever you want but all the insurance company is going to shell out is the max amount the other guy is insured for. Anything above and beyond that would have to come out of the guys pocket. Does he have any money independent of the insurance that you could attach given a judgment?
