Outright Dangerous/ MOM and BABY health at risk

I recently went to a prenatal clinic in Los Angeles to recieve care. I was told I was seeing a Doctor who turned out to be a P.A. Both P.A.'s refer to themselves and eachother as Doctor's. In addition, the staff refers to them as such, too. I recieved a PAP smear and was telephoned two weeks later told I had to come in right away and pick up my results. I went in that afternoon and was told I had to see the Doctor. I was told I had to urinate in a cup, again, have my weight measured as well as my blood pressure if I wanted to see the Doctor. I stated that I was only here to pick up test results and I refused. They said I could not recieve the results then. Well, good thing I decided to pee in a cup, it turns out I had an infection as well as an abnormal PAP smear (precancerous) Again, the so called Doctor I was told I HAD to see, was the same PA. I told her I was concerned about cervical incompetence because of a late miscarriage I had three years prior. The "docotor" PA told me I would have to keep reminding her of this later in my pregnancy because she see's so many patients. She also asked why I wasn't taking Pennicillin for my infection when it clearly says in my chart I am allergic to Pennicillin and go into anaphylactic shock. When I went to read my Patient Bill Of Rights posted in the exam room I was in, It was a Phsychiatric Patient Bill Of Rights. It stated I had a right to refuse electroshock therapy, good to know...
Also, after urinating in the cup against my will, I proceeded to wash my hands where they had no soap in the bathroom. I told them this, they did not even respond.
I know for a fact they are telling all of their patients, 99% hispanic, spanish speaking only, that they are actually Doctor's. I am afraid my health and my baby's health have been jepordized. Is this legal grounds for a law suit? Can anyone give me some direction? I have called LA Consumer/Business afairs as well as the health department but have not heard back.

okay.

well first and foremost, contact your city councilman in that area of los angeles and go from there.

Second, find an attorney (medical malpractice) at www.attorneypages.com to see if you have a case. I don't have enough facts to determine if you can collect any real money judgments.

Third, get yourself the right doctor. When you call the council office, make sure you ask for them to help you locate a doctor.
