plastic in product

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? FL

I found a piece of plastic in a bath product I was using because it scratched my leg. I returned it to the store and they gave me some free product and apologized. Friends have told me I should sue. Should I?

If the scar from the scratch is bad enough, you may get something, but since you already returned the product, it will be hard to prove that the product was the cause of your disfigurement.

Unless you sustained severe disfigurement, it's very likely that the company would've offered you a free product anyway. What were your damages?
