I live in california and am a distributor for a nutritional supplement company in utah. the company boasts of having the highest quality of ingredients and highest standards of pharmaceutical grade manufacturing. i have been a distributor since dec 2000 but now have lost my confidence in the products because recently as i was eating one of the energy bars there was a piece of latex rubber in the middle of the bar. i didn't swallow any of the rubber, but was sickened by the thought of what if a child had, or a customer. i am not sure how to pursue this. the confidence lost reflects on my ability to sell the products.
i have kept the half-eaten bar. is there any recourse? do i have a case for losing future earnings because of the lack of confidence in the products? or should i just write the company and request to be reimbursed for my distributorship?

Thanks,

Ben

is there any recourse? Not unless you were injured or died. All companies only guarantee replacement for defective products, and this includes food items. do i have a case for losing future earnings because of the lack of confidence in the products? Probably not. Don't consider a career switch to being a used car salesman either. or should i just write the company and request to be reimbursed for my distributorship? Your best course of action.

Not to worry, it was just a piece of Michael Jacksons glove. Thriller.
