I contacted the arbor mist co, and informed them of this the same night by via e-mail. call my doctor and inform her what happen.because I was afraid. after a few day I begin to not fill well called the doctor again a test was done to check:eek::mad: my stomach and a ultra sound was set up. I set in the remaining of the wine blender to the company. Someone from the insurance has contacted me. Should I be seeking legal counsel or deal with the insurance. and I am being treated for a bactiera in my stomach.

You have a case!

There seems to be a direct correlation between your ailment and the faulty wine. I would retain a GI specialist (gastroenterologist) and a PI attorney immediately and pursue a personal injury case. :D

Are you saying that the bacteria absolutely 100% came from the wine and nothing else you ate or drank that day?

Ha Ha I get off at 4 in the morning and was trying to think of what to write, did not review my message sorry . I'll make sure I review before I send out next time. I do value your opinion. I am requesting the results .:D How can they be absolutely a 100/% sure that it did not come from the wine.

What does a piece of broken glass and a bacterial infection have to do with one-another??

FYI: YOU are the one who has the burden of proof...Not the company!

:cool:In my first statement it was said that the wine had a funny taste to it, I did not expect my doctor to tell me that I had a bacterial in my stomach, I had no problem with my stomach before. I just want to make sure that I'm ok. That's what's important to me.I would not have had these question if their Insurance company had not contacted me. I did send the remaining contents of the wine to the company, I would think if there were a problem they would let me know.

You might have given a sample of the wine to your doctor to test for bacteria. Though I can't imagine much bacteria could live in Arbor Mist between the alcohol and the high sugar content. Find out if you actually swallowed broken glass and were injured by that; that's a much stronger claim.

Update...

I would also recommend you read the following article on "Examining The Effects of Wine Bacteria." Apparently, you need "DNA sequencing" to determine "Identification of Bacteria in Wine."

On a more immediate note, were you offered any settlement from their insurance people (or a hint of other financial compensations)?

No offer has been made but their asking for my medical imformation. this person calls me every week to find if I'm ok. which makes me worry, she made a statement saying it could have been a bad batch. I have an appointment with a GI specialist hopefuly that will explain the infection. As for the broken glass their were more than one bottle I only sent the one I have another bottle that had broken glass in it as well.I was really looking for a way to handle this sense these people came to me. the first bottle had glass in it I reported it them and call my doctor, after the second bottle I knew something was wrong the wine was not expire, there seems to be some kind of buildup in the bottle. If you saw this bottle there would be no question that there something wrong with this wine.

And yet you were on your second glass when you noticed?
