Six months after I sold my car.....

Hi everybody,

Six months after I sold my car to this one guy, I met up with him a couple days ago and he started to complain about things that going wrong with the car I sold him about 6 months back. He also said that he's suing me for the bill that he's going to get for fixing the car.

Can he sue me for that? After driving the car for 6 months? What kind of option do I have? Or...Is there any law to protect people like me? Thank you for your response.
