Question
I am a nurse in the state of Florida and I had a question about slander. One of my friends asked me to recommend a doctor to her. If something goes wrong with the DR. can she sue me? Also, she told me that she would bring over a list of DR.s that her insurance will cover. By telling her "no" to a DR., is that deformation. She wants the "low down" on the DR.s, is that deformation?

My response:

Absolutely. If you recommend a deformed doctor to her, she could, and probably would, and most likely should, sue you for any deformation that takes place. Deformation of a doctor recommendation can have serious and deliterious affects on you, and your family. A deformed doctor is not something to play around with; so please, make sure there is no deformation going on when you talk to her.
